A Passion for Bookkeeping

My name is Kayla Maldonado and I am the owner of Maldonado Bookkeeping Services, LLC.

What started as a side hustle quickly became a full-time, full-service bookkeeping business in 2022. Inspired to become a bookkeeper when I fell in love with crunching numbers, I earned a Bookkeeping Certificate and have treasured my experience with keeping small business owners financially organized. My client base has grown to include businesses from diverse industries in various stages of growth. With the experience I’ve accumulated since launching my business, I’ve proven I can handle business finances with initiative, resourcefulness, and confidentiality.

I am a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. I hold a BA in Social Work and graduated as an honors student-athlete from Concordia University-Portland. I come from a small farm town in Montana and now reside in a small coastal town in Oregon with my husband and daughter.
